A middle-aged woman, Onyinyechi Ozokolo, has narrated how her husband, Ndubueze Ozokolo, nearly [email protected] one of her eyes during a brawl.
The mother of five, who spoke with newsmen in Enugu, said her husband [email protected] her after she tried to stop him from [email protected] their 13-year-old daughter with a mach€te, on August 19, 2022.
The couple hails from Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State but resides at Coal Camp, Enugu North Council area.
According to her, “He was [email protected] our daughter with a mach€te and I tried to stop him from causing grievous [email protected] to the girl. He then turned towards me, held me and b#t my left eye.
We have been married for 13 years now and my husband has constantly [email protected] me at every slightest provocation and minor issue within the period.”
However, the husband denied the allegation, saying he did not b#te his wife. According to him, they were fi#hting and his wife brought a stone to h#t him but the stone f€ll on her eyes and caused her the inj#ry.
